Pink-o-rama

You know, I never thought I liked pink.  Thought it was a big ol' gay colour.  But you know, I came to the conclusion that it evokes femininity and can really pop in design like no other colour.  I've blogged before on pink, and then I realised I think I need more pink in my life. Blush, coral, rose, fuschia, hot, salmon - also shades like watermelon, cerise and of course baby and lolly pink.  No more lolly pink than this beautiful little toy poodle.
La Pink Poodle - tres chic!

Viva Cuba - crumbling beauty

Havana turquoise and baroque style - Source Tommy Images
The beauty of the colourful urban decay of Havana Cuba is a style of its own.  Cuba has become an inspiration for me since someone showed me some window panels in Havana Green, almost a dark bottle green.  I have always been curious about Cuba since I saw the movie Godfather II many years ago.  The big 1950s American cars, the architectural influence of the Spanish missionaries, the languid approach to living a la Caribbean and splashes of colour which put new life back into old crumbling buildings.

A chorus line of deco, neo-classical, colonial & spanish mission buildings.

A kaleidoscope of lolly colours

Peach painted exterior complete with wrought iron and 1950s car.

Bathroom Delight - tubs to die for

My favourite room in the house is without a doubt - the bathroom.  If it wasn't so expensive to plumb, tile and paint these small but important rooms I'd be doing it every month (if I also had the time!)

Chinese Garden Stools

I confess I don't own one.  I do covet one.  So why don't I have one?  Believe it or not I don't know which colour or style to buy.  I guess I haven't found 'the one'.  You know when you know...you know?  Here's some really stylish stools which would make perfect any decor.
