Bathroom Delight - tubs to die for

My favourite room in the house is without a doubt - the bathroom.  If it wasn't so expensive to plumb, tile and paint these small but important rooms I'd be doing it every month (if I also had the time!)

Martha's Vineyard mint green bathroom

Love the combination of chandeliers, rug and white colourings.

Love, love the parquet floor, chandelier and nickel bathtub

Simple brick tiles, chinese stool and clean & light design

Love the punch of orange in the mirror and waste bin

Calacutta marble - so sleek and refined it adds dimension

Meg Ryan's bathroom - source:Elle Decor

I love Meg's bathroom, because of the tiny tessalated tiles with the interesting border, the little bit of greenery and the glass room divider.

Sarah Jessica Parker's bathroom

Love the tarnished mirror

Silver mirror and orchid - sublime

Again the orchid - but with chinese details on the mirrored cabinets

Vintage art and mirrors

Love the brick tiles - oh ah!

Vintage bathroom updated with mirrored furniture

Black & white and sky light

Chinese toile wallpaper in ruby and green with chinoiserie mirror

Cityscape wallpaper & white

Tessalated tiles - my favourite, in flower & chequerboard motif

Elegant spaces

I often think which interiors (or exteriors) I would feel comfortable in. I adore the verandah of this old Clayfield residence with the bamboo chairs!

Oh to have multiple residences with multiple rooms to experience and enjoy these surroundings!

Faux bamboo

Bamboo is the material used by the Chinese for scaffolding to help them build the homes and structures for thousands of years. While bamboo is a universal natural material, I prefer to look at how the french took the bamboo theme and created fabulous furniture in faux bamboo often in cast iron and metals. Here are some beautiful chandeliers, tables and mirrors that I covet.
